The most important criterion in reaching network marketing prospects is to identify and reach your "target market". By focusing on this group, you'll be able to direct your efforts on the people that are looking for the exact opportunities you offer. MLM leaders who use this method make the most of their time and obtain the most benefit for it by getting more prospecting leads. You must carefully evaluate your clients and determine their exact needs. Your prospects will pre-qualify themselves leaving you more time for the things that make you money.

When you set out on your own network marketing prospecting campaign, your goal is to have two separate target markets. Your first target market will consist of the people who you believe would be the most interested in the products you are marketing. Things like your company's phone service, supplements, juice etc. By only targeting the people who have a need, want or desire for your products or services, you'll greatly improve your MLM prospecting.

Your second target market is the group of prospects who are interested in becoming a distributor and join your downline. These people would have the best chance to help you grow your business and their own company. This is by far the most important group you will want to target when starting your network marketing recruiting efforts.

I see the vast majority of people fail in network marketing because they prospect the wrong people for their business. They use the old useless methods such as cold calling, hounding their friends and family. Even worse they spend inordinate amounts of money buying useless leads. These marketers end up broke and frustrated ultimately giving up entirely.

The successful network marketers have achieved incredible wealth because they target people who have the drive and the desire to succeed. You should be prospecting other network marketers that are proven producers and not beginners. So if you're losing money in your current business and you are struggling to sponsor new prospects, then don't spin your wheels. Instead master the art of prospecting other successful network marketers and proven producers. Learn to apply these methods and you will be incredibly successful in the network marketing industry.
