Complete Premium video at: fora.tv Habib Dagher, Structural Engineering Professor at the University of Maine, describes the concept of offshore wind turbines that float in deep water. Currently, the only fully operational floating wind turbine in the world is located in Norway and serves as a model for a planned offshore wind farm in Maine. Ironically, engineers borrowed the design from floating oil and gas rigs. ----- Habib Dagher, the Bath Iron Works Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Maine, is the founding director of the AEWC Advanced Structures and Composites Center. Established by the National Science Foundation in 1996, the interdisciplinary AEWC Center is a world leader in the development of cost-effective, high performance hybrid composite materials for construction applications. The center recently received $15 million in funding from the Department of Energy for the development of offshore wind energy off Maine's coast. - Chautauqua Institution Dr. Habib Dagher is Professor of Civil/Structural Engineering at the University of Maine, Bath Iron Works Professor of Structural Engineering, and founding Director of the AEWC Advanced Structures & Composites Center.
Dear Fellow Truth Supporter, My name is Abraham Hafiz Rodriguez, and I am a medical student. Throughout my rigorous undergraduate science and medical science coursework, I have had the privilege of receiving extensive training in the process of scientific analysis and evidence-based thinking. I am writing to you today not only as a medical student, but also as a concerned American citizen, to ask for your help with something very important. Have you heard of Dr. Judy Wood? Did you know she has been researching 9/11 since 2001 and has already filed several law suits against NIST's contractors for science fraud, and legal requests that NIST's fraudulent data gets reexamined? Dr. Judy Wood has received more than one threat due to the research she has done and the evidence she has gathered, and one of her students was also murdered in 2006. Surprisingly, Dr. Judy Wood is the only 9/11 researcher who has submitted evidence to the courts in pursuit of the truth. I. In 2007, Dr. Judy Wood filed several legal cases against the corporations NIST had contracted to conduct the 9/11 "investigations", many of which are military / defense / weapons organizations involved in Directed Energy research (huge conflict-of-interest). The filings in these legal cases included Requests For Corrections (RFC) based on the Data Quality Act, and Qui Tam whistle-blower cases. One of her legal cases made it all the way to the US Supreme Court in October of 2009. She has been actively pursuing 9/11 ...

Custumers of the Energy Solution Business (ESB) of Cummins Power Generation engage in a wide range of activities. They may grow greenhouse vegetables, educate university students or run a museum. But they are usually not in the power business, and they often don't have electrical or or mechanical engineers on staff. So when we go to work for your organization, we take a holistic approach to developing a solution that go that goes well beyond just providing a generator set. A tradition of providing innovative, efficient energy solutions Your safe, quality solution involves energy-saving and environment-preserving power systems that often deliver both heat and electrical power. We start by listening to you and understanding your needs. We can help with civil engineering work, system design and cost projections. We can manage the installation and commissioning of equipment and provide operational, technical and maintenance support. In short, helping you fulfill your mission becomes our mission. When Western elites say, as a response to concerns about climate change, that individual consumers must change their lifestyles and use less energy, they are really abdicating their own responsibility to develop a new, cheap, clean and reliable energy supply. They are scared of investing in nuclear power, scared of moving ahead in carbon capture and storage, and scared of developing new, efficient biofuels whether on the land or in the laboratory. Public guilt about climate change is a waste of energy. Progress may have got us into this mess but it is also what is going to get us out of it. This talk builds on elements of the speaker's recent book "Energise! A future for energy innovation" (co-authored with Joe Kaplinsky). This book has been described "A cogent, widely researched analysis of the future of energy which will enable readers finally to distinguish fact from fiction" and "A hugely useful reframing of the debate". The talk will be of interest to everyone concerned with the future of technology, and the role of innovation and culture to support a richly energetic society. About the speaker: James Woudhuysen, Professor of Forecasting & Innovation, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. Physics graduate; contributor to Computing and the New Civil Engineer; visiting Professor of Forecasting and Innovation at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. Article on chemical weapons for The Economist, 1978; co-author, Robots, 1984; The future of cities, report for Glasgow ...
