Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth was the Grand Prize Winner in a video contest sponsored by the National Engineers' Week Foundation (www.eweek.org and the American Society of Civil Engineers (www.asce.org Students were invited to make a two-minute video that shows why their engineering school is the best at making a difference through volunteer projects. The top three of 12 entries were chosen by ASCE EWeek planning staff. Then, 7th and 8th grade students -- who were finalists at the National Engineers' Week Future City Competition (www.futurecity.org -- voted for their favorite out of the top three entries.
